SUGAR...It's addictive!

I declare it official!

 

Sugar is already in, or added to, almost everything we drink and eat. Obese people are accused of gluttony, but the government health authority never had any plans to introduce laws to prohibit all food processing manufacturers from adding sugar into their produce in UK and do not have any such plans for the future. Why? - Because it's big money!

 

Various diabetic centres set up around the UK don't have concise help from dieticians regarding what a diabetic sufferer CANNOT eat. The reason being mostly is because all that is left in the food chain after all carbohydrates, complex or otherwise, are taken into account as none- negotiable, is meat, fish, vegetables, minus tomatoes and parsnips and salads, minus the dressing! Boring eh?

 

Type 2 diabetics, borderline or otherwise, must under no circumstances eat any kind of carbohydrates if they suffer with hyperglycaemia...fact! Our brainy GPs just say something like, "Just watch your diet." They have no conception of what they are talking about, as it goes much, much deeper than just watching one's diet.

 

Is there any wonder our DNA structure has over hundreds of years of bombardment with sugar in all its forms, has caused a genetic mutation of sugar-addicted people? The Medical Profession have the effrontery to deny treatment to obese people, when the country's head of health does nothing to introduce through legislators, laws to stop this madness of adding sugar in the food we eat, then blame it on peoples bad eating habits.

 

The TEST for all those interested in this subject, is to go out into your supermarkets and take with you a list of every food item you normally buy for you and your family members, then check to see how much of it contains carbohydrates, complex carbohydrates, artificial sweeteners which lead inevitably to diabetes in the mass in which your bodily intake on a daily basis is overloaded. Try it, you will be shocked to see that all you can eat minus all types of carbohydrates and artificial sweeteners is fish, meat, vegetables - minus tomatoes and parsnips - and salads! All forms of bread, pastries, potatoes, pastas, sauces, drinks, fruit, fruit drinks etc, beans in tins, any kind of tinned food has sugar added if not overloaded with oil and brine, peas, tinned tomatoes, crisps of any kind, biscuits, cakes, in fact, anything cooked or baked with any kind of flour, tins and jars of curry sauces, all food sauces in jars and tins...even weight watchers produce, rice...the list is endless! Not to mention the overload of added salt! The government watch body for health are allowing food processing manufacturers to kill not only ourselves, but our children's children's children! There is no such thing as LIGHT food and drink!

 

Fruit sugars and artificial sweeteners, such as sucrose, aspartame, lactose, too much sucralose usage, can be stored in the liver, eyes etc, and are released into the blood stream as glucose when the organs are full, causing a massive injection of insulin from the pancreas to combat the glucose levels causing body shock and sometimes, partial dysfunction of the pancreas. Saccharin and Cyclamate in some studies in mice testing have found these can cause bladder cancer also.

 

The writing is no longer just on the wall; the writing is on the wall of our DNA too! Stop this madness now, before it's too late. Legislators...get off your butts and do that for which you get paid...LEGISLATE NOW!

 

Can the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital Trust in Norfolk UK manage their diabetic patients well? Short answer, NO! Especially when it concerns hyperglycaemic diabetics.......and they have a diabetic centre within the confines of the very same hospital! No communication exists when a hyperglycaemic diabetic patient is stationed there between the ward and the diabetic centre. The doctors and nursing staff had in my case, no inclination whatsoever to manage my hyperglycaemia whilst I was stationed for five days, often leaving me for more than 26 hours as "Nil-by-mouth" prior to my operation, which had been cancelled without the staff's knowledge, least of all mine. Even when my glucose level was taken, showing I was 1.2...near drop unconscious state...no one came with food for me because I was still "Nil-by-mouth" and was now hypoglycaemic! So it's not just the food chain killing us, it's the ignorance of hospital doctors and staff too! If I survive this life, it will be a miracle! What's your chances, then?
