One thing government, government health authority, tobacco companies, chemical supply industry and human rights organisations have in common:

PLACATION!

The human DNA, our genetic, organic biological makeup, does not like toxic chemicals or poisons if not in proportionate doses, and even then, we suffer sometimes, horrific side effects, some causing death. Depending on what medication is given to treat the problem, depends largely on its effect on other organs within our bodies as all chemical-based medication is a poison of some form or other. If every human being on this earth stopped smoking all together, the same chemicals and poisons said to be contained in cigarette tobacco, will still be inhaled by every non-smoker throughout the world even though there would be no tobacco being smoked at all!

The same threat to an unborn child in the mother's womb would still be as prevalent as ever, the same amount of people would suffer with cancer and all the ill health problems alleged to be caused by smoking, or passive smoking, even though not one single person smoked any more! Why would this be? The simple answer is that all the chemicals and poisons in tobacco are in the air we breath already, in our homes, our work places, in the streets down which we walk every single minute of the day and night of our lives no matter where we are in the world. Industry pumps the same chemicals and toxic fumes into the atmosphere day and night in the production from raw materials to make our furniture, cars, building materials such as wood, plastic, rubber, concrete, bricks, tarmac, in fact, everything we use to construct our homes, the offices in which we work, the factories, is filled with all the same substances the authorities inform us in tobacco, implying that smoking is the cause of death and unnecessary suffering and passive suffering, yet still take in the revenue from taxation levied against cigarette tobacco, still allow the chemical companies to sell to tobacco companies the self-same toxic chemicals to put into the tobacco, and the human rights campaigners thought they won a major battle when forcing the government health department to have included all the health warnings we see on tobacco packaging. PLACATION is a terrible thing when all parties concerned still bury their heads in the sand, instead of going for an outright, total ban on tobacco production and sale! What good does a warning achieve if they all still agree that one can still smoke, but not in certain public places? All the good that comes out of it of course is taxation...money...big money!

Human rights organisations when dealing with the subject of banning smoking in certain, public places, is rather like a lion with no teeth and claws! They know the government will never drop taxation on tobacco, worth billions every year, because the government have the claws and teeth the human rights organisation do not have, and therefore, will submit to defeat, have done, and will always do so as long as the government outright, refuse to ban the production, import & export etc, of tobacco products in this country. It is interesting that in this country, every doctor, medical professional in the business have never proven categorically outright, that smoking caused the death of a single human being...they only think it did! They really do not know what it was that caused such a demise, and blame anything which is an anti-social behaviour, such as smoking or obesity, anything but admit that the answer lies in our genetic rebellion to over-exposure of chemical toxins in our food, drink, the air we breath, the places in which we live, the manufacturing industry as a whole as well as tobacco. Over the excessive amounts of sugar and salt in the foods we buy, there is absolutely no control, but they will blame tobacco as being the culprit. Picture a world without tobacco, what would they blame next if someone unfortunately died of lung cancer? What could they blame as a result? How about starting with their scam to cream-off money in taxes on tobacco! I heard someone say: "Thanks to the government taxation on tobacco; there would not be a tobacco black market otherwise!"

PLACATION IS A TERRIBLE THING...THE PURSUIT OF TAXATION AT THE COST OF HUMAN LIFE IS AN EVEN WORSE CRIME! BAN TOBACCO NOW!
